Founded in 1963, we're proud to be celebrating over 57 years continuous operation.

We meet on the first Wednesday of the month starting at 6PM

We dive locally

Whalers are on a local boat every month to the northern and southern Channel Islands as well as coastal trips from Palos Verdes to Santa Barbara.

You'll find us often on The Peace and Spectre in Ventura, as well as the Truth boats in Santa Barbara and occaisonally a few of the smaller 6-12 packs out of San Pedro.

We're environmentalists

The Whalers have adopted Deer Creek State Beach as our own in 1989. We support three annual beach clean-ups.

We're world travelers

Whalers go to foreign lands and warm water at least once a year. Recent years have found us in Roatan, Cayman Islands, Bonaire, FIji, Turks & Caicos, and the Red Sea.

As a Whaler, all multi-person savings and discounts are returned to our travelers, lowering costs for everyone.
