Basic Boat Dive Policy
Dives are filled on a
first come, first served basis; your money holds your spot. Dive trips are
announced on the website, in the newsletter and at meetings. You can pay in
person or mail your payment to the
Whalers P.O. Box. Once you have paid for a
trip, it is yours. If you cannot go, it is your responsibility to find a
replacement; we will help you if possible. If the boat is unable to leave the
harbor, a refund will be arranged.
Divers must bring
their certification card to the dive site. Divers must dive with a depth gauge,
a submersible pressure gauge, a timing device, and a buoyancy control device.
Divers will keep track of their own bottom time and no-decompression tables.
Divers will not drink alcohol until finished diving for the day. Divers will
observe all laws. Divers wishing to do any type of specialty diving will contact
the dive coordinator prior to the dive. Let’s have fun, excitement and safe
diving!
Respectfully submitted, Whaler Dive Coordinators, Past and Present
