Basic Beach Dive Policy
The monthly beach dives will be announced in the Whalers Newsletter,
on the Whalers website, and at the general meeting. Sign ups for beach
dives will be taken at the general meeting or by calling the Beach Dive
Coordinator. The Beach Dive Coordinator will notify members who have
signed up for a beach dive of any changes in the beach dive plans. The
Beach Dive Coordinator will collect any participation fees at the beach
dive unless other arrangements are required.
Please be aware that The Whalers Dive Club does not provide a
Lifeguard or Divemaster for beach diving events. You are
responsible for your own safety. The Whalers Dive Club assumes
no responsibility for the safety of divers participating at such events.
The services of the Beach Dive Coordinator are for the administration
and convenience of the members and do not constitute a safety service of
any sort.
