Jean-Michel Cousteau
Jean-Michel Cousteau will be in California staying at his Santa Barbra home for a few weeks. During this stay he will be at Dive n Surf (504 N. Broadway, Redondo Beach) on Saturday February 18th from 12pm to 4pm for a book signing. The three most famous divers in the world all had a very different approach. The father Jacques Cousteau was an explorer and inventor, brother Philippe was more of a hands on do as I say (deceased in a sea plane crash), and now Jean-Michel is an activist, making movies and writing books while guiding various organizations. All three shared a love for the beauty and survival of the ocean. I think Jean-Michel is now in his early 70’s and his speaking engagements are becoming fewer. This could be a last chance to meet a legendary Cousteau and even have his book autographed.
